Introducing TopUp bundles

We have added the option of purchasing TopUp Bundles for those of you who may find you are running short of invoices towards the end of your monthly cycle, to make life easier we have introduced TopUp Bundles, which will allow you to purchase 10, 25 or 50 invoices to get you by until your next subscription cycle.

You can purchase additional invoices without the need to upgrade your subscription service, giving you on-demand access to extra invoicing as and when you need it, it is as easy and flexible as that!

To purchase a TopUp, click on My Account in the top menu of our auto repair invoice software.

Pricing for Bundles:

  • $19.99 / 25 invoices
  • $39.99 / 50 invoices

This is paving the way for our soon to be introduced Pay As You Go service, where a subscription will not be required to use the software, we are very excited about this as there are no other auto repair invoicing services that offer this option, so as always folks, stay tuned!

We appreciate that many people would like an invoicing product for their auto repair shops, but may not wish to commit to a subscription service, and we wish to make life a little easier for those who only have an occasional need to produce invoices, or simply may wish to fully evaluate our product before taking up a monthly or annual subscription.

There will be three packages to choose from, invoices will be sold in prepay bundles of 10, 25 or 50 invoices, valid for 30 days from date  of purchase.  Also, purchasing an invoice bundle will also unlock the rest of the software to create any type of other document for free, this includes Estimates, Booking and Repair Orders.  Prepay bundles will start from $9.99 for 10 invoices.

Prepay bundles can be used by subscription customers when they run out of invoices in their monthly allowance.  This means when you run out before the end of the month, you can top-up with 10,25 or 50 invoices, without the need to upgrade the package you are signed up for.  We think this gives our auto repair invoice software customers a great deal of flexibility to manage their invoicing needs in a fair and cost effective way.

NEW! Retain access to your data with an inactive account

We never want to lose our financial data, or access to it, and many other online services cut you off completely after non-payment, we don’t agree with this.  From now on, even after your account has expired, you can still login, view and download your data and documents.  If you decide you wish to have full access to your account again, you can simply go the Billing page and select a new payment plan to re-activate the rest of your account.

With an inactive account, you will see a message letting you know and a link to the Billing page to re-activate, please note you cannot create any new documents such as invoices, quotes, bookings, or repair orders until you make payment on your account with a renewed subscription to our auto repair invoice software.

New: VIN Decoder for Northern America

We are happy to once again bow to user requests, and add support for VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) decoding.  Using this is a simple process, when you are entering a new client record you can specify the VIN number, you can leave blank of course when you do not have this information to hand at the time, and use the update client link to add the VIN at a later time.

You can now order parts directly from our auto repair invoice software, the parts you have used will appear on the Inventory screen, to get started you need to create one or more vendor profiles.  You can then set stock levels, and set the threshold for ordering new parts.  You simply enter the Re-order amount, make any required changes to part name, and an email will be sent to the vendor for you to pick up parts at a later arranged time. When sending email for parts order to the motor factors, you will also receive a CC of the email sent for your own records, or for printing.

It is now easy to manage your suppliers, parts and stock.  You can set your stock levels, and these will be updated when you create an invoice. You can manager your vendors and suppliers here also.  Parts you have used previously, and add from now on will appear in your inventory, you can choose to create vendors and update the listed parts with the appropriate vendor once you have created a few vendors to work with.

You can also directly email your auto repair parts supplier directly from the app, and send an email ordering more parts.  This is something we intend to automate in the future, i.e. notifying you when stock levels with a vendor have reached, or are approaching zero. Along with this we are building an automated parts order document, listing the parts, quantity required, and for your own benefit, showing you the cost of parts you need to order, this order sheet can then be emailed or printed. We hope to have this new feature of our auto repair invoice software ready in the coming week or two.

We are working on integrating this with the Repair Order creator, to let you know if you do or do not have the required parts in stock, with the option to order the required parts, this will be coming shortly.

We have been featured by PointBlank and CapitalDirect as one of the Top 50 Technology Tools and Software Platforms for Auto Mechanics. Their recent survey of auto repair software gives an overview of what is available on the market for all ranges of auto shops from the large dealership to sole proprietor. The article argues the interesting point where pen and paper of making do with excel alone is not enough to efficiently manage your workshop. Our auto repair shop invoice is listed at No. 19 on the list.

We are delighted to have had our software shortlisted here, and we hope you can see the cost savings our product offers in comparison to some competing products, our goal is simple document and finance management.

New: Statements can report on multiple vehicles

As you may have recently seen, we added support to link customer accounts, and access all customer vehicles from the client dashboard.  Now that the ability to link accounts exists, it made sense to use this to produce full customer statements. You will need to link the required accounts you wish to merge, using the provided link on the client dashboard to select the other clients you wish to combine.

When logged in to the client dashboard, and clicking on Client Statement at the top of the screen.  You will see a screen similar to above, where you select the date range you wish to produce a report on, here you can select the linked client accounts you wish to see in the statement.  The currently active client is highlighted on the client list selection, you are free to select/unselect any of the individual accounts you wish to include. All Transactions are grouped and sorted by date over all transactions to give an overall clear view of a client’s complete account in full detail, including useful information on each vehicle, such as mileage and last service date.

This is the latest in the pipeline of additions on the way for our auto repair invoice software. We have also slightly modified the format of the customer statements to display client and vehicle details more clearly.

New: Improved client dashboard and sales reports

We have revised the client dashboard to provide sales reporting, including total sales and YTD sales from that customer. This screen has also been made easier to read and highlight money owed.

New: Automated Service Reminders

We have introduced automated service reminders to our auto repair shop software, which can be found and set up on the client dashboard screen, when viewing details for a client.

You can set whether or not any given customer is to receive service reminder emails, and the set the next date they should receive an email reminder, as well as the frequency at which reminders are sent, current options for this are every 3,6,9,12 months, you can set this as appropriate for the car make and model of your customer combined with their average mileage and driving habits that you are familiar with.

The customer will receive an email with a link to book a service with you, so they can quickly and easily reply to the reminder, as well as make a provisional booking with your auto repair shop.
